Brand Identity Development

In 2016, batyr required a youthful and consistent brand identity that appealed to multiple audiences, including school and university students, teachers, and donors.

I introduced a new colour palette, typography and the wave graphic to represent supportive listening and communication, inspired by sound waves and an elephants’ trunk.

Current Look + Feel

Since our partnership began, batyr’s visual brand identity has developed and grown along with their impact. With the help of many talented designers, illustrators and artists, batyr’s brand now includes a new range of colours, illustrations, logo and a custom typeface.

Today we continue to work together to create accessible and engaging content in Canva that can be easily utilised and edited by their entire team.

City2Surf

Each year, the batyr team band together for the famous 14km City2Surf. To encourage their audience to join the team, raise money and have a bit of fun, batyr require designs for their email marketing, website and social media platforms.

Splash The Stigma

Splash The Stigma is an annual swimming campaign to break down mental health stigma. This campaign requires printed and digital assets, including gamification badges for the fundraising platform.

3 Peaks Challenge

The 2023 inaugural 3 Peaks Challenge encouraged participants to take on a trek of a lifetime over three of the highest peaks in Australia’s Snowy Mountains, while raising funds and awareness for youth mental health. The campaign required a logo lockup, flyers, info packs and social media content.

Blue Tie Ball

Each year, batyr brings its community together to celebrate its achievements and unite in its efforts to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people with its Blue Tie Ball and Blue Tie Long Lunch.

These events require invitations, programme booklets, posters, presentation slides, media walls, social content, and website and email marketing assets.

Giving Day

Each Giving Day, donations are tripled by batyr’s generous matching partners. To encourage donations during the day, a social campaign is run across batyr’s platforms, and a fundraising page is created.

This annual campaign requires content for Instagram and interactive gamification badges for each target that is hit on the fundraising page.

OurHerd App

A series of promotional content was created to promote batyr’s app, OurHerd.

Stigma-Free Streaming

Stigma-Free Streamers is 2024’s newest batyr campaign, encouraging people to go live for youth mental health. This campaign required the creation of a logo lock-up, pixel-style illustrated graphics and collateral for Twitch, email marketing, social media and interactive PDF’s.
